Soil Smell After Rain (Petrichor)
Petrichor (pet.ri.khor) is the earthy scent (sweet smell). produced when rain falls on dry soil that makes you feel soothing and wonderfully pleasant.
It comes from greek word ‘petra’ means ‘stone’; and ‘ichor’ means ‘fluid that flows in the veins of the gods’.
